Welcome to ‘Tune:In’, a blog designed to help you stay focused on the things of God. You may have heard the phrase ‘Tune In’ when you have been distracted or have been caught day dreaming by a teacher or someone you were supposed to be listening to and, by using this phrase, they are calling you to refocus on what they are saying.

This is exactly my hope for you and this blog, that you would ‘Tune: In’ to the things of God and not be distracted by anything else. The verses below are a great place to start as they serve as a reminder of what God has already done for you, how he has made it possible for you to be a follower of Jesus in the first place and now he is calling you to stay tuned in to his message, the Gospel.

You yourselves are a case study of what he [God] does. At one time you all had your backs turned to God, thinking rebellious thoughts of him, giving him trouble every chance you got. But now, by giving himself completely at the Cross, actually dying for you, Christ brought you over to God’s side and put your lives together, whole and holy in his presence. You don’t walk away from a gift like that! You stay grounded and steady in that bond of trust, constantly TUNED IN TO THE MESSAGE, careful not to be distracted or diverted. There is no other Message—just this one. Every creature under heaven gets this same Message. I, Paul, am a messenger of this Message.
